Founder Late Ivy Da Fonseca Ma’am (St. Francis’ School)

St. Francis’ School was founded by Late Ivy Da Fonseca Ma’am, a visionary educator whose life was devoted to shaping young minds through discipline, values, and holistic education.

She firmly believed that education must build character, responsibility, and compassion, alongside academic excellence. From the earliest years, she was personally involved in guiding students, mentoring teachers, and establishing a culture of care, respect, and discipline.

The values she instilled continue to guide St. Francis’ School even today, inspiring generations of students and educators.

Our Leadership

Mr. Virendra Sambhaji Tardalkar (Executive Director & Head of Institution)

Mr. Virendra Tardalkar is responsible for the overall leadership and functioning of St. Francis’ School. He oversees academic planning, administration, compliance, discipline, admissions, staff management, and all institutional decision-making.

He holds final responsibility for:

Academic and administrative planning
Statutory compliance and official records
Discipline policy and parent escalations
Admissions, staff appointments, and exits
Vendor selection, approvals, and payments
Approval of notices, circulars, and institutional communications
He serves as the Head of Institution in official and statutory records, ensuring the school operates with transparency, accountability, and consistency.

Mrs. Anupriti Virendra Tardalkar (Center Head)

Mrs. Anupriti Tardalkar supports the school’s day-to-day operational activities, contributing to the smooth functioning of routine processes.

Her responsibilities include:

Daily attendance and office routines
Fee-related coordination and record support
Classroom supervision and routine checks
Vendor follow-up and daily coordination
Maintenance and updating of records and registers
Preparation and circulation of notices and circulars as approved by management

Governance Note St. Francis’ School functions in accordance with its registered Trust and Society, as per applicable rules, resolutions, and statutory requirements.
